Custom Dreamcatcher Celebrating the Life of Charlotte Gray
I was recently commissioned to create a custom dreamcatcher to celebrate the life of Charlotte Gray, who passed away from a rare genetic disorder at the age of 13. She loved butterflies and the color pink, so I made sure I incorporated them.
There is so much symbolism in this piece: white and pink feathers, rose quartz and six butterflies. I am so honored to make this to honor Charlotte and I hope ththis brings a little peace and healing to the Gray family.
ROSE QUARTZ
Love, compassion
A stone of unconditional love and infinite peace, rose quartz is the most important crystal for healing the heart and instill feelings of peace.
WHITE AND PINK OSTRICH FEATHERS
Protection, safety
As the purest of colors, white has long been associated with spirituality, innocence, and divine guidance. White feathers have been linked to the presence of angels, serving as gentle reminders that we are being watched over and protected.
Delicate and nurturing, pink feathers symbolize love, compassion, and tenderness. They are associated with the heart chakra, inspiring emotional healing and self-love.
BUTTERFLIES
Rebirth, transformation, freedom, joy
Six butterflies attached to the branch, representing each member of the Gray family. The butterfly on the right is the largest and higher on the branch than the others, representing Charlotte in her full energy, but still very much a part of the entire branch.
